Dental Cleanings

Full-mouth cleanings under anaesthesia, with X-rays to see what sits below the gumline.

A dental here is a real cleaning, done under anaesthesia because scraping only the surfaces an awake pet will tolerate does little for the disease underneath. We chart every tooth, take full-mouth X-rays, scale above and below the gumline, and polish. Anything loose, fractured, or dead gets discussed with you before it is treated.

Bad breath is the sign most owners notice first, followed by chewing on one side, dropping food, or pawing at the mouth. Dental disease is common by middle age in both dogs and cats, and it hurts quietly, since animals rarely stop eating over a sore tooth. Your pet goes home the same day with written instructions and a plan for keeping the mouth comfortable.
